Generals Meadow residential home in Walmer near Deal Kent is privately owned and run under the personal supervision of the owners Mr & Mrs Johnson with a combined experience of 40 years working in residential care in Walmer.

Generals Meadow care home is registered for 19 residents over the age of 65 and was originally established as a care home for the elderly in 1985.

Generals Meadow as a residential care home is a substantial former mansion house built by Herbert Baker in the Dutch Colonial style and it represents his best architectural work.

Many of the original features still exist which bring to life the buildings history and role it played in both the First and Second World War.
